Vin Kruttiventi Signs Pledge to End Reign of Career Politicians

PLEASANTON, CA – Today, Vin Kruttiventi was pleased to announce that he has signed the U.S. Term Limits Amendment Pledge, committing him to cosponsor and vote for an amendment to the Constitution, imposing limits on the number of terms a member of the Congress may serve. Specifically, the pledge calls for limiting members of the U.S. House of Representatives to three (3) two-year terms and U.S. Senators to two (2) six-year terms.

Upon signing the pledge, Kruttiventi stated, “Public service should be just that: Service. I’m running for Congress to give the people in the East Bay a voice they can count on; not to live a lavish lifestyle funded by taxpayer dollars and campaign contributions. Sadly, too often it seems that the more time a politician spends in Washington, the more disconnected and out of touch they become from the needs of the people in the district. By supporting term limits and signing this pledge, I commit to not accept business as usual and to demand more for the people of the 14th District.”

Vin Kruttiventi is a candidate for Congress seeking to represent California’s 14th Congressional District currently held by Congressman Eric Swalwell. The 14th Congressional District is located entirely in Alameda County and includes all, or portions of Ashland, Cherry Land, Dublin, Fairview, Hayward, Fremont, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Leandro, Sunol and Union City.

As a first-generation immigrant from India, Vin Kruttiventi came to the United States to pursue the American dream. He founded and serves as the CEO of A5, a business consulting firm that services various Fortune 500 companies. Through his non-profit foundation, Vin provides support and expertise to other non-profits, small business owners and entrepreneurs in the hope that others will be successful in obtaining the American dream. Vin resides in Pleasanton with his wife and two daughters.
